Generating Program Modules for Women and Girls in Nepal  | Principal Investigator

April 2022 – December 2023  |  Funder: DKA Austria and Kfb Austria

Designed research tools and conducted KIIs, FGDs, and household surveys in Far-Western Nepal. Generated evidence on best programme areas for empowering women, girls, and persons with disabilities.

 

Gender Norms in Local Governments: Women Leaders in Nepal  | Principal Investigator

September 2022 – October 2023  |  Funder: ALIGN / ODI Global, UK

Conducted 77 Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with women and men political leaders. Produced evidence-based report for transforming gender politics in Nepal.

 

Film-Based Intergenerational Advocacy Dialogues Against Child Sexual Abuse  | Project and Advocacy Leader

June 2022 – April 2023  |  Funder: Out Of the Shadow Advocacy Grant/ Ignite Philanthropy

Led 9 intergenerational dialogues engaging policy makers, stakeholders, and young people in Madhes Province. Video recordings produced for sustained policy advocacy against CSA.

 

Improving Lives of Marginalized Girls through Ending Child Marriage Initiatives  | Project Leader

February 2023 – January 2024  |  Funder: Rockflowers Partners, US

Reached 1,000 young girls aged 15–18 in 857 households; educated whole families against child marriage in Nepal.

 

Communicating Challenges and Dreams of Young Girls through Mithila Art  | Investigator

Engaged young girls and Mithila artists to reflect, narrate, and communicate their challenges and dreams through indigenous Mithila artwork.
